What Does It Mean To Be Saved?

My friend, the days are dark. There is much sadness & fear all around us. The world is changing quickly. Perhaps you are struggling financially, medically, spiritually, mentally. There is a way for you to have the peace, love, hope and restoration you are seeking!
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16.
Friend, perhaps you didn't know you were a sinner. The 10 commandments are God's moral standard, and we have ALL broken every commandment. Sin is the root of ALL problems.
God will judge ALL sin: not only the murderers and rapists, but our lies, hatreds, dishonoring our parents, adulteries & thefts. But instead of us having to receive God's righteous judgement for our sins (including hell for eternity), Jesus stood in front of the sword of God's wrath and took that punishment for us. When we repent, He forgives us, washes us with His blood, and causes our spirits to be born again into the family and kingdom of God.
Scriptures about being born again: Romans 3:23 "all have sinned", Romans 6:23 "the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord", 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 "Christ died for our sins and rose again", John 1:12 "But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood, nor the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but of God."
A Prayer you might say: "I confess to God that I am a sinner and I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross to ransom me from sin and death. I receive and confess Him as my personal Lord and Savior. Amen."
Hallelujah!!! You are now born again and part of the family of God! You have many promises from God now available to you, such as "I will never leave you or forsake you" and 100's more! Next Step: find a Bible believing church so you can have a family to love & support your new life, AND start reading the Bible! Start with the book of John AND pray every day to your Father in heaven. He's waiting to hear from you!
